As Cristiano Ronaldo signing Juventus FC rekindled new enthusiasm around the Italian football, the International Under 17 tournament Trofeo “Beppe Viola” looms in the distance as a great opportunity to unveil the best prospects and hopefully a “new” raising CR7. The 48th edition of the event will take place in the beautiful Arco (Garda Trentino, Northern Italy) from 7th to 12th of March 2019, the organizers announced.
Preliminary contacts are running to enrol some top-class European clubs with the aim to increase the event’s international leverage further, although the tournament formula and system of play staying unchanged.
The well-established technical standard, joined to the beauty of the Garda Trentino’s landscapes, the skilled organizational staff and the increasing media exposure, all made the Italian U17 tournament’s reputation well-known in Europe as abroad.
A number of significant names in the history of football showed up at Trofeo “Beppe Viola”: former top-players such as Fabio Cannavaro, Francesco Totti, Philipp Lahm and Bastian Schweinsteiger, all World Cup Champions with their respective national teams, came through here not by chance.
