Atalanta vs. AC Milan, one of the best youth club in Europe and one of the most successfull club in the world ever face each other.
Atalanta, five-time winner in the last 13 years at Trofeo Beppe Viola, won all matches so far with the driving force of defender Ruggeri, midfielder Panada, fancy advanced midfielder Vorlicky and stricker Reda, dominating its round group and prevailing over Parma in the semis after penalties. “This bunch of players is much aware of their powerful, but we can’t take any risk – Atalanta’s coach Giovanni Bosi explained. – AC Milan is a top-class club even in youth categories, we’ll not have easy life at all. It’ll be a tight match but we strongly wish to raise the trophy afterwards”.
AC Milan, whose last win in Arco goes back to 2004, is a physically gifted and very competitive squad having the tournament top-scorer Capone as touchstone. We feel proud of our performances in the tournament so far: the Trofeo Beppe Viola is the absolute best among the U17 international events and we feel honoured to be here again“.
